Do I need to know anything about music?
Not a thing. Share a real memory, review your lyrics, and choose a musical feeling. We use AI to help turn your story into a song.
Is DearChorus free to try?
Yes. The free preview includes one song generation per IP address, with up to three lyric drafts. This is a one-time allowance, not a daily reset. People on a shared network share the same allowance. Future pricing has not been decided. This experience won’t automatically charge you or start a subscription.
What happens if a generation fails?
Failed lyric requests restore your lyric allowance. Failed music submissions or tasks confirmed as failed restore your IP’s song allowance. If the music service runs out of credits, the site owner needs to restore them first.
Who can see my story and song?
Your work is not listed in a public gallery. Your story is sent to our music generation provider to create your song. Anyone with your gift link can read the lyrics and play the music, so share it thoughtfully.
Can I keep my song forever?
Please save the audio while it is available. Our provider currently documents a 30-day lifetime for its audio links. We don’t yet promise permanent online hosting.
